Maybe that's what we're all looking for: art that reflects who we are, what we've been through, and how we see the world; art as a deep, dark, truthful mirror. - Nathan Rabinfeeling low key BUMMER RAP...THE BUM RAP...THE END OF THE YEAR RAP...the fact is, is that i don't even talk to people about music anymore...in person at any rate...i tell people at work that i don't even listen to music...i mean, it's all pretty subjective...we choose the music that fits the best with how we live our individual realities...if you like something that i don't like who am i to tell you any differently...and with rap, it's kind of come full circle again for me...when i was growing up rap wasn't very popular yet, and so in most circles if you said you liked rap you were looked down upon...and now it kind of feels the same way again for me...even though rap is arguably the most popular genre of music today, i still feel that if i tell people i like rap they'll look at me funny and i just don't want to go there...i just don't feel like fucking dealing with the looks...i don't feel like having to explain rap to people that don't get it...STEP AWAY FROM THE PODIUM, BROWN...FUCK A LECTURE...anyway, the real fact of the matter, is that i listen to alot of fucking rap and here's some of william brown's favourite shit from the year...
